Andre Borovec (Australia Coach): " Was poor execution. We could have made some inroads in the first 6-7 overs. Was a fine line with the execution in these conditions. Generally, I think the execution. We are making the right decisions but failing to execute them."
Suryakumar Yadav (India Captain): "Obviously the boys are not putting pressure on me. They are taking the onus on themselves. I only told them we have to prepared to bat first, back yourself and whatever we get, we will have to defend that. There was a lot of dew in the field.
When I saw him the last match, the composure he showed was excellent. Again the same thing today, that reminds me of something. Everyone who has done that thing for India."
Yashasvi Jaiswal (Player of the Match): "It was really special for me. I really enjoyed it today. I was trying to take brave decisions and be fully sure of that. As I have been told by Surya bhai and VVS Sir just 'go and express yourself'. For me, I always think about how I can improve and develop my cricket around all the experienced players. For me, what I think I can develop and not think about anything else. I am still learning.
It was my mistake and I went to him and said sorry to him. Stoinis was in between me and I accepted it was my mistake. But Rutu bhai is so humble and caring. and told me 'Next time when you are into the gym we will run make sure it was a secure single.' I am trying to develop all my shots. The mental stuff is something I am working on. I believe in my practice sessions.I just try to be better in each and every single day."
