India's final hurdle before the ICC World Cup 2023 is set to be played on Wednesday (September 27) as they take on Australia. The two teams lock horns in Rajkot with the fate of the series already decided.
India do have an unassailable 2-0 lead in the series and will be hoping to finish the series on a high and with a clean sweep.

India have rested Shubman Gill and Shardul Thakur ahead of the match in Rajkot. The duo have left the squad and will join team India in Guwahati before the warm up game. On the other hand, Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and Jasprit Bumrah are set to return to the setup. The trio are poised to start as KL Rahul may relinquish his captaincy duties to Rohit Sharma in the final match of the series.
Australia may also make some changes as they prepare to end the series on a high. The visitors have so far been humbled in both matches and it is to be seen if they can come up with a positive result in the final encounter.
