India are taking on Australia in the 3rd Test of the Border Gavaskar Trophy. The match is taking place at the Holkar Stadium in Indore.
India captain Rohit Sharma chose to bat first after winning the toss, but things haven't gone accordingly for the hosts so far in the early stages of the third Test.
India have made a disastrous start in the first session of the first day, as they are tottering at 45/5, with half of the side back in the hut.
It was a fine start for India in the initial couple of overs. Rohit Sharma and the incoming Shubman Gill made a solid start. But Rohit was dismissed by Matthew Kuhnemann in the sixth over, which initiated the capitulation. Rohit came down the crease for a heave, but failed to connect and got stumped.
After Rohit's dismissal, his opening partner Gill departed as well as the ball spun away against the angle. Pujara also followed soon as the ball kept low from a half-tracker, and dislodged his bells as the player attempted to play on his backfoot in a Nathan Lyon delivery.

And Ravindra Jadeja and Shreyas Iyer's dismissals have further slumped the hosts.
Virat Kohli is the only resort the Indian team have at the moment. The former India skipper has negotiated things with his sturdy hands and is the sole hope for the home side.
The Indore pitch is doing a lot of talking from the first session of the match. Australia went with three spinners as the last match and two of them have immediately given them results. Matthew Kuhnemann, who made his Test debut in the Delhi Test, has picked up three wickets so far, while the veteran Nathan Lyon has picked up a couple as well.
India are leading the Test series 2-0 after the first two matches and will be aiming to wrap up the series in Indore. The visitors, on the other hand, have the final chance to make amends and launch a comeback.
