With the series level at 1-1, Team India and Australia will continue their quest for a World Test Championship final spot when they clash in the third Test of Border-Gavaskar Trophy, which is set to be staged at the The Gabba in Brisbane from Saturday (December 14).
Jasprit Bumrah had led the visitors to a 295-run in the series opener against Pat Cummins' Australia at the Optus Stadium in Perth last month, but the home side registered a 10-wicket win on Rohit Sharma's return to the helm as Team India captain in the Adelaide Test last week.

The hosts had suffered a massive loss to India in Perth. However, Cummins and Co bounced back with a first ball wicket via Mitchell Starc, who finished with a six-wicket haul as India folded for 180 in their first innings.
In response, Marnus Labuschagne showed signs of return to form with a fifty before Travis Head, India's chief tormentor, smashed yet another century to help Australia claim a 157-run. After Starc did the job with the ball in the first innings, it was time for Cummins in the second innings.
The Aussie skipper claimed a fifer as India were bowled out for 175 in their second innings, setting a target of 19, which was chased down in 3.2 over by Austalian openers Usman Khawaja and Nathan McSweeney.
Although India head into Gabba on the back of a defeat, they will be a very confident side, having won their previous visit at the venue, where Rishabh Pant scored an unbeaten 89 to help the tourists pull off the highest fourth innings chase at the Brisbane Cricket Ground.
Now, before India face Australia at the venue for the eighth time, here is a look at the The Gabba Stats and Record as well as the two teams' longest format record in the city ahead of India vs Australia 3rd Test followed by the broadcast details:
