After winning their final group stage match against New Zealand, Rohit Sharma and his men are buoyant. They are the only team with a 100 per cent winning record but they are set to face Australia, who have been an achilles heel in the past, most recently in the World Cup 2023 Final. Australia won their first encounter against England but then saw their last two matches getting washed out.

Australia, on the other hand, are missing a lot of key players, but will be aiming to fight against the strong Indian side and secure a victory. And to be fair, the Aussies will take all the confidence from the World Cup 2023 final, when they stunned the Indian side at the jam-packed Ahmedabad and broke a billion hearts. But considering all of that, we believe India still are firm favourites to redeem themselves and seal their place for the final.
