The Australian team has suffered a huge setback ahead of the 2nd Test against India in Adelaide.
As per reports, star Australia pacer Josh Hazlewood has suffered an injury and is ruled out of the crucial encounter.

The CA announced that the pacer is set to miss out due to a 'low-grade' side injury, but will remain with the team to prepare for the remainder of the five-match Test series.
"Hazlewood will remain with the group in Adelaide to prepare for the remainder of the series," the statement said.
Australia has named their replacements for Josh Hazlewood ahead of the series. Sean Abbott and Brendan Doggett have been included in the Adelaide Test. Although the two new pacers have joined the squad, Scott Boland is likely to replace Hazlewood in the day-night affair in Adelaide.
Boland, who last played for Australia during the 2022 Ashes series in England, has been a dominant force in domestic cricket. The Victorian seamer boasts an impressive record, having taken 28 wickets at an average of 12.21 across six Tests played in Australia. His prowess in pink-ball matches is particularly noteworthy, with an average of just 13.71, making him a vital addition to the squad for the day-night Test.
Brendan Doggett, another pace option, continues to wait for his international debut despite receiving his first Test call-up during the 2018 series against Pakistan in the UAE.
Meanwhile, Sean Abbott remains in pursuit of his maiden Test cap. The New South Wales all-rounder has been on the fringe of the Test setup, featuring in squads during the 2020-21 Border-Gavaskar Trophy and the 2023 Ashes. A veteran of 26 ODIs and 20 T20Is, Abbott played a pivotal role in Australia's World Cup triumph in India last year.
The 2nd Test in Adelaide is set to commence on Friday (December 6). India, after their massive win in Perth, lead 1-0 in the series.
