Australia have announced the squad which will face India in a T20I series just after the conclusion of the ICC World Cup 2023.
The Australian Cricket Board (ACB) announced their team on Saturday as Matthew Wade is set to captain the Aussie side. Along with Wade, veteran players David Warner and Steve Smith have also been included in the squad.

Among the players playing in the current World Cup, the likes of Glenn Maxwell, Travis Head, Marcus Stoinis and Adam Zampa will also extend their stay in India. But their pace trio of Mitchell Starc, Captain Pat Cummins and Josh Hazlewood will take no part in the series.
"It's an experienced squad with a mixture of players who have had their first opportunity on the international stage and that we hope will continue to develop into important players in our T20 group," ACB chief selector George Bailey said.
"Matthew has captained the team previously, is a leader in the group and we look forward to him taking the reins for this series. Like Mitch Marsh in the South Africa series, this is another great opportunity to further deepen our international leadership experience and depth," he added.
Australia will play a five-match T20I series which starts from Movember 23 and continues till December 3. The first match will be played in Vizag (Nov 23), followed by matches in Trivandrum (Nov 26), Fuwahati (Nov 28), Nagpur (Dec 1) and Hyderabad (Dec 3).
