India's T20 World Cup semifinal hopes hangs in the balance as they take on Australia in the final Super 8 match on Monday (June 24).

After Afghanistan's stunning win over the Aussies, the Super 8 Group 1 has all to play for. India's status for the semifinals is still not confirmed, and they will have to ensure no mishap occurs in St. Lucia.

India will have to avoid a heavy defeat. As they do have a superior net run rate, Rohit Sharma and his team will have a chance of going through to the semi-finals, even if they lose narrowly against Australia. But Team India will be aiming to win against the Aussies and go into the semis with an excellent winning record in the tournament.

As team India prepares for the clash, there are questions if the team management will make some changes. India has been playing with mostly the same team with Kuldeep Yadav being the only tweak for Mohammed Siraj in the Super 8 phase. With the wickets in West Indies which has favoured the spinners, Jadeja can be left out as Yuzvendra Chahal may be handed an opportunity. Suryakumar Yadav showed his class against Afghanistan while Shivam Dube batted decently against Bangladesh - which means the duo are likely to keep their places.
