1. Rohit Sharma
Rohit, who has been going through a purple patch of late, will lead the side in the absence of Virat Kohli, who has given a rest from the T20I series. Rohit would like to extend the form to T20Is too before the Test series.
2. Shikhar Dhawan
Dhawan will don the blue for the first time since the series against the West Indies. He did not have a great series against the West Indies and would like to make amends in the three-match T20I series.
3. KL Rahul
Rahul has been going through an unsettled time as far as his India career is concerned. But he showed some semblance of form for Karnataka in the recent Vijay Hazare Trophy and he would like to build on it against Bangladesh.
4. Shreyas Iyer
Shreyas has been quite impressive in the limited opportunities he received so far since the series against the West Indies. He has earned praise of Virat Kohli too and now he would be looking to build on it.
5. Manish Pandey
Manish too played a big part in Karnataka winning their fourth Vijay Hazare title. And he would be keen to have a consistent run in the T20I series against Bangladesh.
6. Rishabh Pant
The young wicketkeeper batsman went through a turbulent time on the field after getting dropped from the team following a modest West Indian tour. He will be eager for a good run that will give him a lot of confidence.
7. Washington Sundar
He has been quite impressive since making a comeback during the Windies series and continued his impressive ways in the series against South Africa. Now, he will be keen to further strengthen his case with a good outing against Bangladesh.
8. Krunal Pandya
Krunal too has some good performances against West Indies and South Africa and he would like to remain in the plan for next year's ICC T20 World Cup with a strong effort against Bangladesh.
9. Deepak Chahar
The medium pacer has been quite impressive against West Indies and South Africa. Deepak will be eager to keep the team management impressed with another set of fine outings.
10. Yuzvendra Chahal
Chahal may no longer the No 1 pick as he was used to be a couple of years ago. But the leggie is still a force to reckon with and would be eager to reclaim his coveted place with a good outing against Bangladesh.
11. Khaleel Ahmed
Khaleel has been solid without being flashy in the series against West Indies and South Africa and the left-arm pacer will be eager for a better effort against Bangladesh.
