The India Men's national cricket team is set to tour Bangladesh in August 2025 for a white-ball bilateral series comprising three One-Day Internationals (ODIs) and three T20 Internationals (T20Is).
BCCI announced the schedule for the upcoming tour on Tuesday (April 15), which has been slotted after the conclusion of the England series.

With both sides looking to fine-tune their squads ahead of the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy and the subsequent T20 World Cup cycle, this tour assumes significant importance in the international calendar. This series promises to be a riveting contest between two subcontinental rivals.
The matches will be hosted at two of Bangladesh's premier international venues-Shere Bangla National Cricket Stadium (SBNCS) in Mirpur and Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium (BSSFLMRCS) in Chattogram.
For India, this tour could serve as a testing ground for some of their emerging stars, particularly in the T20 format, where a generational shift is on the horizon. The ODIs, on the other hand, will allow them to stabilize their 50-over core with experienced heads likely to return to the mix.

India is expected to go with a fresh and young squad for the series, with some top young talents in display. They will be looking forward to cement and stronger their case for future tournaments. The senior players like Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Jasprit Bumrah, and Ravindra Jadeja are likely to be rested for the series.
Suryakumar Yadav is poised to lead the team in T20Is while Hardik Pandya may well be appointed as the ODI captain, although it is not confirmed. Shubman Gill can also be in the reckoning for leadership if Rohit Sharma misses from the 50-over series.
It also provides a massive opportunity for the current IPL youngsters who can be in the running if they perform well in the IPL 2025.
