India vs Bangladesh T20I Series 2024: After two red ball games, it’s time for some white-ball action as World Champions India host Bangladesh in a three-match T20I series, starting from Sunday (October 6).

The series opener is set to be staged at the New Madhavrao Scindia Cricket Stadium in Gwalior this weekend, while Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi will host the second T20I on October 9 before the series concludes on October 12 at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad.

Team India continue life after veterans Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and Ravindra Jadeja in T20Is as Suryakumar Yadav remains skipper of the team that also includes former captain Hardik Pandya.

The Men in Blue have also named three uncapped players in the squad by adding exciting quicks Mayank Yadav and Harshit Rana as well as all-rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy. Abhishek Sharma also returns to the team, while Riyan Parag retains his place in the squad.

Arshdeep Singh shoulders the responsibility of leading the pace attack, while Ravi Bishnoi, Washington Sundar and the returning Varun Chakravarthy will be the spin bowling specialists in the side.

Jitesh Sharma also returns and is likely to fight for the place of a wicketkeeper with Sanju Samson, who could also be played as a pure batter in the team that also includes Rinku Singh and Tilak Varma, who replaced the injured Shivam Dube.

Bangladesh, on the other hand, welcome the return of Mehidy Hasan Miraz to the 50-over format as the all-rounder finds his name in the 16-member squad led by Najmul Hossain Shanto.
