The visitors won the first by 28 runs to take the first lead in the series before the hosts made a stellar rebound in the second game in Vizag. Rohit Sharma-led Indian cricket team won by a huge margin of 106 runs to level the series.

England haven't named a replacement yet but will continue with the spin trio namely Tom Hartley, Rehan Ahmed and Shoaib Basheer. Joe Root is expected to deliver the goods as the fourth spinner.
