India clinched the T20I series against England with a crucial victory in Pune on Friday (January 31).
Suryakumar Yadav's team won the match by 15 runs and now have an unassailable 3-1 lead in the five-match series, with the final match set to be played in Mumbai.

Shivam Dube and Hardik Pandya powered India to a decent total of 181 for 9. England won the toss and put India under pressure as Saqib Mahmood got three wickets in the 2nd over, with Sanju Samson, Tilak Varma and captain Suryakumar Yadav all back in the pavilion.
But Rinku Singh (30 off 26) and Shivam Dube stitched a crucial partnership before Hardik's blitzkrieg (53 off 30) powered their total to 181.
England started brightly in the run chase as Phil Salt and Ben Duckett added 62 runs for first wicket. Harry Brook (51 off 26) also batted brilliantly but concussion substitute Harshit Rana, who came on for Shivam Dube, changed the complexion of the match with three wickets. Ravi Bishnoi was also excellent with three wickets while Varun Chakravarthy picked up two wickets.
In the end, England were bowled out for 166 runs as India won the series 3-1, which is also their 17th straight bilateral T20I series victory on home soil.
