Former India player Irfan Pathan is set to make his comeback in the commentary and expert role after missing out on IPL 2025 season.
Pathan, who has been a central point of broadcasting operations, was left out of the ongoing IPL panel by Star Sports, but will be returning with the same role.

As India take on England in a five-match Test series, Irfan Pathan has been named among the experts for Sony Sports' Hindi coverage for the series. The former India all-rounder will be among a star-studded team that will be analysing and dissecting Team India's proceedings in Hindi.
Sony Sports Network announced on Saturday (May 24) that Pathan is among their eight experts who will be spearheading the Hindi coverage. The other former India players in the panel are - Vivek Razdan, Saba Karim, Ashish Nehra, RP Singh and Ajay Jadeja. Apart from that, Gaurav Kapur and Arjun Pandit will be the orchestrators of the proceedings.
The English panel also consists of seven names.
