It has been another Jasprit Bumrah masterclass, which has kept India firmly in the hunt in the 1st Test against England.
Bumrah starred with the ball on the 3rd day, picking up five wickets, as England fell 6 runs short of India's first innings total. The Indian pace star was instrumental again in stifling the Bazball, and kept India in the game across the first innings. But Bumrah could have wrapped the England batters a lot early, not because of the Indian fielding, which has dropped catching chances.

Yes, it was that kind of a day for the Indian fielders, as they kept on dropping chances. The Indian catching was abysmal to say the least, as the likes of Yashasvi Jaiswal, Ravindra Jadeja put down plenty of opportunities across the last two days.
Despite the setbacks, Bumrah shone through, claiming his 12th five-wicket haul outside India, and he has now become the highest wicket-taking Asian bowler in SENA countries.
Addressing the missed chances after Day 3, Bumrah was nonchalant and rather stayed beside his teammates.
"I don't take it too far in my head - the dropped catches. Nobody is dropping catches purposely. It's part and parcel of the game. People will learn from this experience," Bumrah said at the post-day press conference.
Bumrah's modest answer may have saved the Indian fielders, but they will have to be a lot more efficient in catching in the remainder of the match. The game is delicately poised and the final two days are expected to create crunch situations, and catching may prove crucial for the visitors.
Apart from Bumrah, Prasidh Krishna got three wickets, while Mohammed Siraj claimed two scalps. In the second innings, India are 90 for 2 at the end of day's play, with KL Rahul again showcasing his class, currently unbeaten on 45 runs.
