An almost new-look Team India will look to respond to the series loss against West Indies when they face Ireland in the 1st T20I of the three-match series at the The Village in Malahide, starting Friday (August 18).

Jasprit Bumrah, who makes his return from injury, will the Indian team that will see the return of Washington Sundar and Prasidh Krishna as well as the first call up for Rinku Singh. Ireland, on the other hand, will be led by Paul Stirling.

This will be India's fifth outing at the venue, where they have won on their previous four meetings with Ireland. But the Men in Blue will be aware of the last match when the hosts almost chased down a huge total.

The series will give Bumrah and Krishna to prove match fitness ahead of the Asia Cup squad selection, and also the chance for many rising talents to grab their opportunities of making their case for a longer run in T20 setup.

However, there is 70 percent chance of rain from 5 PM Local Time to 7 PM Local Time, which could possibly see the match being interrupted due to weather or possibly being washed out.
