With several new faces in the squad, Team India will look to rebound from the 2-3 series loss to West Indies when they travel to Ireland for a three-match T20I series, starting from Friday (August 18) at The Village in Malahide.

The remaining two matches also will be held at the same venue on August 20 and 23 respectively. This will be India's third tour to Ireland for T20Is, having visited the country for two-match series in 2018 and 2022.

Hardik Pandya, who led the side in West Indies, has been rested along with several others. India will be led by Jasprit Bumrah, who makes his return after a long injury layoff like fellow pacer Prasidh Krishna as India look to test the match fitness of the pace duo.

The Indian team will also include top performing IPL players like Rinku Singh, who gets his first call up to the national side, while Jitesh Sharma, Washington Sundar, Shahbaz Ahmed and Shivam Dube also return to the side.

The likes of Tilak Varma, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Ruturaj Gaikwad and Mukesh Sharma all retain their spots from the West Indies tour alongside Sanju Samson, Ravi Bishnoi, Arshdeep Singh and Avesh Khan.

Ireland, on the other hand, will be led by Paul Stirling and their squad will also feature the likes of Josh Little, Lorcan Tucker and Harry Tector among others. This will be Ireland's first T20I assignment since last month's T20 World Cup European Qualifiers, where they won 4 of 5 matches.
