Team India will look to continue to build the pool of players for next year’s T20 World Cup when they face Ireland in a three-match T20I series at the Village in Malahide, Ireland.
A new-look Indian side led by Jasprit Bumrah will be in Ireland as some players and staff take a break ahead of the Asia Cup and World Cup. The Men in Blue will face Ireland on August 18, 20 and 23 at a single venue in Malahide.

Some members of the Indian side that lost the T20 series in West Indies last week will be keen to step up as they retain their place in the squad that will also see new faces in Rinku Singh, Shivam Dube and Jitesh Sharma among others.
This will be India’s third tour to Ireland for a T20 series, having already visited for two-match series in 2018 and 2022. All the four matches took place at the Village in Malahide, which has hosted a total of 16 T20Is so far.
India have a great record at the venue, winning all the four matches they have played there so far with Ireland winning just two T20I matches overall in Malahide. But the Irish came very close to pulling off a run chase in their last match at the venue when they hosted India.
