However, rain and a wet outfield have delayed the toss and start of play. The first inspection was scheduled for 1:15 PM local time (9:45 AM IST), and after the rain stopped, the match was stopped due to wet outfield. But the match is set to start soon as the toss took place recently.

The match is India's final preparation game before the Asian Games, where their campaign begins on September 28.
