Who Won the Toss Today, IND vs NED World Cup 2023 Match 45: India captain Rohit Sharma won the toss and elected to bat first against Netherlands in ICC World Cup 2023 at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Sunday (November 12).
India and Netherlands head into the match on the back of contrasting results. While India stretched their unbeaten streak with a 243-run victory over South Africa at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata, Netherlands lost to England by 160 runs at the MCA Stadium in Pune.

The Men in Blue will now look to get another win under their belt heading into the semi-final, while Scott Edwards' Netherlands will look to end their campaign with another stunning win, which could seal their spot in 2025 Champions Trophy.
As for the team news for Sunday's match, India remain unchanged from their massive win over South Africa. Netherlands, on the other hand, also remain unchanged from their defeat to England.
After opting to bat first, India skipper Rohit said: "No particular reason (on opting to bat first). Whether we have batted first or bowled first, we have done extremely well. Another opportunity to play well today and tick all the boxes."
On the performance so far and team combination, Rohit added: Extremely happy with how we have played in this tournament. Hats off to the guys who have stood up at different times and taken the responsibility. Same team."
After being asked to bowl, Dutch captain Edwards said: "We would have batted as well. Looks like a pretty good wicket, but good ground for chasing. We have been pretty good overall, there's games we've been blown out. We've had two wins."
On the crowd and team news, Edwards added: "Looking to give a good performance today, give ourselves a chance. This is going to be the biggest crowd we've had for the tournament, looking forward to the atmosphere that's going to be here.
"India have been flawless, we have to be at our best. A WC in India is as big as it gets. To win those games, it's been big for us. Same side for us."
India: Rohit Sharma (captain), Shubman Gill, Virat Kohli, Shreyas Iyer, KL Rahul (wicketkeeper), Suryakumar Yadav, Ravindra Jadeja, Mohammed Shami, Kuldeep Yadav, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Siraj.
Netherlands: Wesley Barresi, Max ODowd, Colin Ackermann, Sybrand Engelbrecht, Scott Edwards (captain/wicketkeeper), Bas de Leede, Teja Nidamanuru, Logan van Beek, Roelof van der Merwe, Aryan Dutt, Paul van Meekeren.
It's the centre wicket being used for the match, meaning bounaries are even on all sides. Sanjay Manjrekar and Aaron Finch reckon it's a good wicket, a hard surface with a little cracking.
Finch also feels the batters will need to spend time and then make use of the shorter boundaries when they get used to the pace of the pitch. The duo conclude that there will be fireworks both on and off the field.
