India Predicted Playing XI vs Netherlands for T20 World Cup 2026 Clash in Ahmedabad

With qualification to the Super 8s already secured, India are expected to tweak their combination when they face the Netherlands in their final Group A fixture of the T20 World Cup 2026 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Wednesday.

India vs Netherlands

Suryakumar Yadav's side have cruised through the league stage, and the focus now shifts to fine-tuning combinations before tougher tests against South Africa, West Indies and Zimbabwe in the next round.

Abhishek Sharma Under Spotlight

All eyes will be on Abhishek Sharma, who is yet to open his account in this World Cup. The left-hander has registered two ducks, against USA and Pakistan, and missed the Namibia game due to illness. Despite the lean patch, the team management has publicly backed him, and he is likely to get another opportunity to find rhythm before the knockouts.

Rotation Likely As India Test Bench Strength

With nothing at stake in terms of qualification, India are expected to rotate selectively.
Ishan Kishan, who struck a match-winning 77 against Pakistan, could be given a breather, potentially opening the door for Sanju Samson. Kuldeep Yadav may also make way, with Mohammed Siraj in line to return to the XI. Arshdeep Singh remains an option as India assesses their bowling mix depending on conditions in Ahmedabad.

Washington Sundar could also come into contention as India looks to balance workload and maintain flexibility ahead of the Super 8 stage.

India will be keen to stay unbeaten in the group stage, but the larger objective remains momentum and clarity heading into the business end of the tournament.
