India vs New Zealand: Auqib Nabi Replaces Injured Prasidh Krishna in ODI Squad for First Three Matches
New Delhi, Oct 31: India have made a change to their squad for the upcoming ODI series against New Zealand, with pacer Auqib Nabi being drafted into the team for the first three matches following Prasidh Krishna's injury setback.
Krishna has been ruled out of the five-match series due to a hamstring injury, prompting the BCCI to bring Nabi into the squad earlier than initially planned. The Jammu and Kashmir fast bowler was originally named in India's squad for the fourth and fifth ODIs but will now be available from the opening match in Auckland on November 4.

Confirming the development, BCCI secretary Devajit Saikia stated that Nabi would join the Indian squad from the beginning of the series.
The 29-year-old recently impressed during India A's four-day fixture against New Zealand A in Lincoln, claiming six wickets across both innings. His performances earned him an opportunity in the senior national side.
Nabi made his ODI debut against the West Indies in Guwahati last month. However, it was a challenging outing for the pacer, who conceded 84 runs in 8.5 overs. India went on to win that encounter after chasing a target of more than 400 runs, with captain Shubman Gill producing a magnificent double century.
