The India vs Pakistan Asia Cup Super Four tie has been rescheduled to the reserve day on Monday (September 11) due to relentless rain on Sunday.
The rain gods poured with no mercy as the weather in Colombo took a drastic turn midway through India's batting. Although the rain clouds were accumulating slowly, there was still a hope that we may just have enough time to see out the game. But when it started raining, it poured and poured.

And now the match has been called off for the day and will resume on Monday as this tie has a reserve day. The reserve day will see India start batting from wherever they left off (147 for 2 after 24.1 overs) and we will have a full quota of the game.
But there is a big question on the weather again. How will be the weather in Colombo on Monday?
Colombo is set to have similar kind of weather on Monday as well. According to Accuweather, the forecast is Cloudy Thunderstorm for the Sri Lankan capital. The temperature will be maximum around 29° C which can go as low as 25 in the evening. There can be strong wind due to thunderstorms and rain is likely to play a key role again.
There is a massive chance of rain on Monday (September 11) in Colombo. There is around 99 per cent rain chance in the daytime, which remains 92 per cent during the afternoon, and north of 75 per cent in the evening and night. There will be around 95 per cent cloud covering and we can expect substantial downpours throughout the day. A total rain volume of around 32 mm is being expected tomorrow in Colombo.

With the probability of raining more than 90 per cent in the afternoon and evening, the match can be hampered if it rains at this juncture of time.

The good thing about tomorrow is that we already have 24 overs done and a 3 pm start means there will be comparatively a bit more leeway to have a full match.
