India captain Rohit Sharma paid a crucial part in India's resounding victory over Pakistan in the ICC World Cup 2023 on Saturday.
It was a stellar performance from the home team, as they mauled the Pakistani side. India dismantled Pakistan by bundling them out for just 191 runs. And then Captain Rohit Sharma shined with the bat and India chased it down with almost 20 overs to spare.

Rohit Sharma scored 86 off just 63 balls, hitting 6 fours and 6 sixes in his swashbuckling inning. And after the victory, the Indian captain showed the symbolical 8 gesture to the crowd.
India completed their 8th consecutive victory over Pakistan in the World Cup. Since their first meet, the Pakistanis have never beaten India in the World Cup and it continued on Saturday as well.
And as the Men in Blue secured the victory, captain Rohit Sharma was seen gesturing the crowd with his hands. The Indian captain had eight fingers pointed, which is symbolical to India's eight victories over Pakistan in the competition.

India have now won the first three matches and sit top of the points table. Pakistan, on the other hand, sitting 4th after suffering their first loss of the tournament.
