India vs South Africa 2nd Test Probable Playing 11: India will take on South Africa in the 2nd Test in Cape Town which starts from Wednesday (January 3).
South Africa lead the series 1-0 after a comprehensive win in Centurion and will be aiming to win the series in Cape Town. India's hopes of a series win in South Africa is over, but will be trying to level things up in the final match of the series.

India have made a change to their squad as Mohammed Shami is ruled out. Avesh Khan has replaced the Indian pacer for the 2nd Test. Rohit Sharma and the team management may look to make a couple of changes to the playing XI for this match. Both Prasidh Krishna and Shardul Thakur had disappointing outings in Centurion, and may be replaced in this match. KL Rahul is certain to play, especially after his stellar knock in Centurion. Abhimanyu Easwaran may well be handed a debut for either of Yashasvi Jaiswal or Shubman Gill, but that looks like a distant option at the moment.
South Africa have lost captain Temba Bavuma who went off injured in the first match. Dean Elgar will lead the side in his final international match. Bavuma may well be replaced by one of the players, but the rest of the playing eleven is likely to remain the same.
