India will be up against South Africa in the final of the T20 World Cup 2024 on Saturday (June 29) in Barbados.
India defeated England to qualify for their third final in the T20 World Cup, whereas South Africa demolished Afghanistan to participate in their first ICC final in senior men's team history.

Ahead of the match, ICC has announced the list of umpires and match officials for the grand final.
New Zealand umpire Chris Gaffaney and English umpire Richard Illingworth will be the on-field umpires for the match. On the other hand, Richard Kettleborough and Rod Tucker will be the 3rd and 4th umpire respectively, hailing from England and Australia.
"Christopher Gaffaney and Richard Illingworth will be the on-field umpires as South Africa play India in the final of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024. Richard Kettleborough will be the TV Umpire and the Fourth Umpire will be Rodney Tucker, with Richie Richardson as the match referee, at the Kensington Oval in Bridgetown, Barbados, which hosts the final for the second time following the 2010 final," an ICC statement read on Friday.
