India will be up against Sri Lanka in the Final of Asia Cup 2023 on Sunday (September 17). The two teams will lock horns at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo for the Championship clash.
The defending Asia Cup Champions (T20 Format) Sri Lanka won the virtual semifinal against Pakistan to book their berth for the Final. On the other hand, India were already through as the top-placed team in the Super Fours. The Lankans are also the most successful team in Asia Cup's history.

The Indian team have Axar Patel ruled out with injury and Washington Sundar has come in to replace him. A lot of changes are expected from the Bangladesh game. As many as five changes look imminent as Virat Kohli, KL Rahul, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Siraj and Hardik Pandya all look set to come back into the starting lineup.
For Sri Lanka, it will be more of sticking with the team which won them the crucial match against Pakistan. We may see Kasun Rajitha integrated back into the side replacing Pramod Madushan. Matheesha Pathirana is ruled out of the Final with a hamstring injury and has been replaced by Sahan Arachchige.
These two teams met in the Super Fours stage earlier in this Asia Cup. Sri Lanka managed to bundle India for just 213 runs as Dunith Wellalage starred with the ball. But the Lankans then crumbled in the run chase and themselves got knocked out for just 172 runs, losing the match by 41 runs.
