India's limited-overs tour to Sri Lanka is set to commence from July 27, as team India will take on in 3 ODIs and 3 T20Is.
New head coach Gautam Gambhir will be taking charge of the Indian team from the Sri Lanka series, and it is to be seen how the team shapes up for the tour.

India captain Rohit Sharma and batter Virat Kohli announced their retirement from the format after the T20 World Cup. After a long cricket season, the duo, along with a few senior players were expected to miss the upcoming tour.
The latest updates indicated a possible return for Rohit Sharma. The India captain is going to play in the ODIs and captain the team in Sri Lanka. Rohit will commence a new partnership with new head coach Gautam Gambhir.
The possibility of Jasprit Bumrah taking part in ODIs or T20Is is also very bleak at the moment. The Indian pacer has had an extensive period of activity and BCCI won't mind handing him some additional rest.
Virat Kohli is currently in London spending vacation with his family. He was set to miss out on the Sri Lanka series, but made himself available for the ODIs. After his confirmation, the selectors have picked him for the series.
Hardik Pandya, who is a candidate for T20 captaincy, will miss out in the 50-over format. Pandya, who had a terrific outing in the T20 World Cup, announced his split with wife Natasa Stankovic after four years of marriage.
India will play of their three ODI matches in Colombo, which starts from August 2.
