India vs West Indies, Dominica Weather Report:: India vs West Indies first Test is set to kick off from the Windsor Park in Dominica from 7:30 PM IST (10 AM local time).

There are chances of rain in Dominica on Day 1 of India vs West Indies first Test, however, that should not impact the course of the match much. Rain showers have been predicted in Dominica around 6:00 AM (local time) in the morning. Another round of showers around 8:00 AM in Dominica before the weather clearing out for a perfect day of cricket.

A third round of rain in Dominica has been predicted around 6:00 PM, however, Day 1 play should be over by then. The early morning rains should also not cause much of a problem as the match is scheduled to start from 10:00 AM IST (7:30 PM in India). The drainage facility at the venue is also good.

India are playing at Windsor Park in Dominica for the first time since 2011. In fact, India have played only one match at the venue. The match in which India opted to bowl first had ended in a draw back then.

India captain Rohit Sharma has revealed that Yashasvi Jaiswal would be making his Test debut and would open for the team and Shubman Gill will take Cheteshwar Pujara's number three spot.
