India vs Zimbabwe in 2026: Check Full Schedule, Matches List as T20I Series Confirmed

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) recently unveiled India's packed home international schedule for the 2026-27 season, featuring tours from West Indies, Sri Lanka, Zimbabwe, and Australia across 22 matches in 17 cities.

And amid the host of home series, the Indian team is set to visit Zimbabwe this year in a short away trip in the month of July.

The Zimbabwe Cricket announce the news on Wednesday (April 1), confirming India's visit to the African nation for a three-match T20I series.

"Matches against India always generate enormous interest and this is a fantastic opportunity for our players to test themselves against the world champions on home soil," Givemore Makoni, the managing director of ZC was quoted as saying by Cricbuzz.

1st T20I - July 23

2nd T20I - July 25

3rd T20I - July 26

All three matches will be played at the Harare Sports Club in the capital city of the country.

Apart from that, the Zimbabwean team will also come to India for a bilateral series after more than a couple of decades. They will play a three-match ODI series at the start of next calendar year.

1st ODI: Sunday, January 3, 2027, at 2:00 PM IST - Eden Gardens, Kolkata (Day/Night)

2nd ODI: Wednesday, January 6, 2027, at 2:00 PM IST - Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad (Day/Night)

3rd ODI: Saturday, January 9, 2027, at 2:00 PM IST - Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai (Day/Night)

This short white-ball series comes right after India's engagements with Sri Lanka in December 2026 and serves as a bridge before the high-profile five-match Border-Gavaskar Trophy Test series against Australia, starting January 21, 2027, in Nagpur.

Led likely by their experienced core including players like Sikandar Raza and emerging talents, Zimbabwe will look to challenge India in helpful conditions and build momentum ahead of future ICC events, including the 2027 ODI World Cup co-hosted by South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Namibia.
