India vs Zimbabwe: Ravi Bishnoi takes Stunning Catch reigniting Yuvraj Singh memories - Watch

By MyKhel Staff

Ravi Bishnoi picked up a stunning catch in the third T20I match between India and Zimbabwe on Wednesday.

In the fourth over in the bowling of Avesh Khan, Bishnoi took a stunner at backward point to dismiss Brian Bennett, who was in shock.

Bishnoi Catch

A short delivery was cut extremely hard by Bennett, but he could only afford a smile of disbelief. Bishnoi flew in the air to hang on to the ball and completed a scintillating grab, reminiscing the old memories of one of India's greatest fielders, Yuvraj Singh.

Bishnoi was quickly surrounded by his teammates who were also in awe of the catch. The leg-spinner is known for his fielding but that was something even more special from his kitty. In the yesteryears, Yuvraj Singh was known for his leaping ability as he took many stunning catches in the air. In the current Indian team, there are some excellent fielders but Bishnoi has to be the best fielder amongst the bowlers.

In the first match, Bishnoi took a fantastic catch running infield at long-on, which dismissed the Zimbabwe captain Sikandar Raza.

India posted a mammoth total of 182 runs after batting first. Captain Shubman Gill scored 66 runs while Ruturak Gaikwad also managed 49 runs. In reply, the hosts are tottering at 60 for 5 at the halfway stage in the run chase.

The Indian team lost the first match by 13 runs but have come rallying back in the series. If they win the match, Shubman Gill's men will take a 2-1 lead in the series with two more matches to play.
