BCCI has named the India women's squad for the upcoming Asia Cup T20, which will be taking place in Sri Lanka.
Team India is gearing up for the Women's Asia Cup T20 2024, with their first match against Pakistan on July 19. The tournament will be held in Dambulla, and the Indian squad was announced by the Women's Selection Committee on Saturday (July 6).

The Indian team, led by Harmanpreet Kaur, is placed in Group A alongside Pakistan, UAE, and Nepal. Their campaign kicks off with a high-stakes match against the arch rivals Pakistan.
The squad features a mix of experienced players and young talent. Harmanpreet Kaur will captain the side, with accomplished batter Smriti Mandhana continues as vice-captain. Key players include Shafali Verma, Deepti Sharma, Jemimah Rodrigues, and wicketkeepers Richa Ghosh and Uma Chetry.
Other notable names such as Pooja Vastrakar, Renuka Singh Thakur, Dayalan Hemalatha have also been included in the squad.
BCCI has also named four players who will be going with the team as travelling reserves. The players are are Shweta Sehrawat, Saika Ishaque, Tanuja Kanwer, and Meghna Singh.
