India Women entered the final of Women's Asia Cup 2024 after beating Bangladesh by 10 wickets at Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium in Dambulla on Friday, July 26.
Smriti Mandhana (55* off 39) smashed an unbeaten fifty, and her partner Shafali Verma also scored unbeaten 26 off 28 as India Women chased down a 81-run target in just 11 overs.

Bangladesh were restricted to 80/8 after electing to bat first. Pacer Renuka Singh, and left-arm spinner Radha picked three wickets apiece. Bangladesh captain Nigar Sultana top-scored for her team with 32 off 51.
India Women finished the group stage unbeaten, winning each of their three matches. A win in the final would see the Women in Blue win the continental showpiece event without losing a single game.
India Women are chasing their record-extending eighth Asia Cup title. They will be facing either Sri Lanka Women or Pakistan Women in the final in Dambulla on Sunday, July 28.
The second semi-final between Sri Lanka and Pakistan is also scheduled at the same venue from 7:00 PM on Friday.
Like India, hosts Sri Lanka are also unbeaten so far. They defeated Bangladesh, Malaysia and Thailand to top Group B. Pakistan Women qualified for semi-finals after finishing second in Group A. They lost against India by seven wickets but bounced back to beat Nepal and UAE by nine and ten wickets respectively.
