An all-around Jemimah Rodrigues has inspired Indian women to level the ODI series against Bangladesh on Wednesday (July 19).
The India women's team lost the first match but rallied back with a dominant 108-run victory in the 2nd ODI at the Shere Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur.

Jemimah Rodrigues scored a career-highest 86 runs with the bat, and then showed her magic with the ball with a four-wicket haul to give India a stellar victory.
India posted 228 for 8 in their 50 overs as Jemimah (86 off 78) and captain Harmanpreet Kaur (52 off 88) starred with the bat. Smriti Mandhana also scored a handy 36 but it was Kaur and Rodrigues who propelled India over 200 with a crucial 131-run partnership for the 4th wicket.
In reply, Bangladesh were bundled out for just 120 runs. Jemimah picked up four wickets giving away just 3 runs, while Devik Vaiya also scalped three wickets. Fargana Hoque (47) and Ritu Mondal (27) were the top scorers for Bangladesh.
The 3rd ODI will be played on Saturday (July 22) at the same venue.

"I would be lying if I say I wasn't under pressure. But as a team we spoke about how we can respond after a loss. Harman and I were going really well then Harleen came in and gave us that extra push," Rodrigues said on her batting.
"I just tried to potch it in the right areas and allow the surface to do the rest. Credit to the management for believing in my bowling," she added.
