India Women will prepare for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2024 with a five-match T20I series against Bangladesh Women at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium in Sylhet, starting from Sunday (April 28).
The five-match series which starts on April 28, will continue with the second and third match on April 30 and May 2 respectively, while the final two matches will be held on May 6 and 9.

This will be India's second tour of Bangladesh in the last two years. Last year, the 'Women in Blue' played three 20-over matches against Bangladesh and won the series 2-1.
Controversy had erupted last time when India toured Bangladesh, with captain Harmanpreet Kaur smashing her stumps after she was given lbw and criticizing the umpiring, calling it pathetic only for the Bangladesh captain Nigar Sultana to hit back and call out the Indian captain's behavior, saying 'she could have shown better manners.'
The Indian women's team led once again by Harmanpreet Kaur has handed maiden call ups to the senior national team for Women's Premier League (WPL) starts Asha Shobana and Sajeevan Sajana.
Bangladesh has handed a maiden call up to 15-year-old pacer Habiba Islam Pinky in the women's senior team as the only uncapped player in the squad. Nigar Sultana Joty will continue to lead the home side with Nahida Akter serving as her deputy.
