In the second-final Sri Lanka Women defeated Pakistan Women by six wickets. Pakistan could manage only 75 runs for the loss of nine wickets in 20 overs. Sri Lanka chased down the target in 16.3 overs.

India women cricket team are a step away from a gold medal in their maiden attempt in the Asian Games.

Sri Lanka Women have managed to win just one of their last five T20I matches against India. On Sunday as well, they took 99 balls to chase down a 76-run target. Their top-scorer Harshitha Madavi took as many as 41 balls to score 23 runs.

India Women are the favourites to win the gold medal after beating Sri Lanka Women in the final on Monday.
