India have been placed in a highly competitive Group 1 for the ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2026 alongside Australia, South Africa, Pakistan, Bangladesh and debutants Netherlands.
The side will play five group-stage matches between 14 and 28 June at some of England's most historic venues. India open their campaign with the marquee clash against arch-rivals Pakistan on Sunday, 14 June at Edgbaston.

They then face Netherlands on Wednesday, 17 June at Headingley, followed by South Africa on Sunday, 21 June at Old Trafford. Mid-tournament, India take on Bangladesh on Thursday 25 June at Old Trafford (14:30 BST) before closing the group stage against defending champions Australia on Sunday 28 June at Lord's. All matches will be broadcast live and are expected to draw massive crowds given India's huge global fan base.
The schedule gives India a balanced mix of early and later fixtures, allowing time to build momentum while facing both established and emerging teams.
ICC officials have described the 2026 tournament as a continuation of the massive growth seen in women's cricket, and India's fixtures are among the most anticipated. The group winner and runner-up will advance to the semi-finals on 30 June and 2 July at The Oval, with the final scheduled for Lord's on 5 July.
Fans can already purchase tickets for all India matches, with the India-Pakistan and India-Australia encounters likely to sell out quickly. The tournament offers Indian supporters a rare chance to watch their stars in action at iconic English grounds during a landmark summer for the women's game.
