India's bittersweet World Cup 2023 campaign has ended with a sour taste as the Men in Blue faltered at the final hurdle.
It was an excellent campaign for India, but everything went in disarray in the final as Australia toppled the hosts to secure their 6th World Cup title. Nevertheless, it was an excellent Indian team that performed at their very best in the group stages and in the semi final, and made a billion fans dream of glory.

In the end, they fell short, but there are a lot of takeaways for Rohit Sharma and his troops from this campaign. The way Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli performed, the way the pace trio decimated their opponents the way the whole team played - there are many, many instances to fathom the Indian team's supreme trajectory.
But on the other end, there is also a doubt ooming large. With Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli at the twilight of their career, they may have potentially played their last World Cup game. So now the onus is on the next generation to carry on the baton and conjure up another strong bid for India in the next World Cup in four years time.
But today, we are in reminiscing mode. Let's have a look at how the players showed up in the World Cup 2023. We have decided to give full marks of 10 and we will try to evaluate the players according to their performances.
