The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the itinerary for the senior men's team from September 19 to February 12, detailing a busy international home season before and after the high-profile five-match Test series in Australia.
Team India will play five home Tests as part of their World Test Championship commitments. They will face Bangladesh in a two-match Test series, with games in Chennai starting on September 19 and Kanpur from September 27.

This will be followed by a three-match Test series against New Zealand in Bengaluru (October 16-20), Pune (October 24-28), and Mumbai (November 1-5). In addition to the Tests, India will also host eight T20Is and three ODIs.
The T20I series against Bangladesh will see matches in Dharamsala (October 6), Delhi (October 9), and Hyderabad (October 12).
Following the Tests and T20Is, the England series will commence with five T20Is and three ODIs. The T20I series against England will start in Chennai on January 22, followed by matches in Kolkata (January 25), Rajkot (January 28), Pune (January 31), and Mumbai (February 2).
The ODI series will be held in Nagpur (February 6), Cuttack (February 9), and Ahmedabad (February 12). The final ODI against England will mark the end of India's home season, as the team will then prepare for the Champions Trophy, expected to be played in a hybrid model since the Rohit Sharma-led squad is unlikely to travel to Pakistan.
During its home season, the Indian Cricket Team will travel to thirteen different cities in the country to play various formats. Chennai, Mumbai and Pune are the only venues where they will be playing one Test match and one white-ball format game.
