BCCI has released an advertisement for the India men's senior team Head Coach role on Monday (May 13).
The apex body of cricket in India is seeking applicants to take up the role of the next India coach and the deadline is May 27, 6 pm IST.

Rahul Dravid, the current India coach, will see his contract run out after the T20 World Cup. Although the current coach can still apply for a role, an automatic contract extension was not made this time.
BCCI secretary Jay Shah also opined that team India can also have a foreign coach, but it will all be decided after an extensive interview process with all the candidates.
Becoming the coach of Team India is obviously one of the biggest dreams for many budding educators of the game. But is it possible for anyone to apply for the post? Check Out the criteria here-
There is a four-fold knowledge criteria and one age criteria to apply for a job as India's head coach.
The applicant should have played a minimum of 30 Test Matches or 50 ODIs for his/her national team.
Or
The applicant is/were a Head Coach of a full member Test Playing Nation, for a minimum period of 2 years.
Or
The applicant was a Head Coach of an Associate member, IPL Team or Equivalent International League/First Class Teams/ National A teams, for a minimum period of 3 years.
Or
The applicant will have to acquire a BCCI Level 3 Certification or equivalent.
Even if someone matches one of the four aforementioned criteria, the applicant will have to be below 60 years of age.
The BCCI is expected to receive numerous applications for the job and it is to be seen who will be appointed as the next Professor for the Indian team.
