Yashasvi Jaiswal, who marked his India debut with a Test hundred against West Indies, also became the 28th Indian player to the three figure-mark in the longest format in the Caribbean.
In his maiden Test and first appearance for India, Jaiswal scored 171 as India took a 271-run lead and claimed an innings and 141 run victory in India's first Test against West Indies at the Windsor Park in Roseau, Dominica on Friday (July 14).

The 21-year-old shared a massive 229-run opening stand with skipper Rohit Sharma, who also scored his first Test hundred in the Caribbean as he amassed 103, becoming the 29th player to score a ton in the West Indies.
The duo now join a long list of Indians, including greats like Sunil Gavaskar, Sachin Tendulkar and Rahul Dravid among others to reach the three-figure score in the longest format on Caribbean soil. Gavaskar has smashed the most tons for an Indian in the West Indies.
Current head coach Dravid has the next highest of three hundreds along with Dilip Sardesai and Polly Umrigar. Ajinkya Rahane and Ravichandran Ashwin from the current team also have two centuries in the Caribbean.
Jaiswal also had a great opportunity to join a unique list of Indian double centurions in the Caribbean. Gavaskar, Sardesai, Navjot Singh Sidhu, Wasim Jaffer and Virat Kohli are the only Indians to achieve the feat so far. Here are the Indian players who slammed a Test ton in Caribbean:
