Inter-state one-day tourney from March 16; Twenty/20 from April 3

Mumbai, Feb 20 (UNI) The Board of Control for Cricket in India today revised the dates of the Inter State-All India Knock Out One-day tourney 2006-07 to be held from March 16 to 27 in the North Zone.

The Tours and Fixtures Committee of the cricket board which met here today also announced the dates of the inaugural domestic Twenty/20 tournament.

The domestic Twenty/20 league would be held from April 3 to 8, while the All India Championship would be held from April 13 to 20.

The venue of this tournament would be announced soon, the BCCI stated in a release.

The schedule of the inter-state one-day tournament is as follows: Pre quarterfinals: March 16: South Zone 2 vs East Zone 1 March 17: South Zone 1 vs East Zone 2 Quarterfinals: March 18: North Zone 2 vs West Zone 2 March 19: West Zone 1 vs North Zone 1 March 20: Central Zone 1 vs winner of South Zone 2 vs East Zone 1 March 21: Central Zone 2 vs winner of South Zone 1 vs East Zone 2 Semifinals: March 24 and March 25 Final: March 27.
