Mumbai, May 19: Two-time champions Chennai Super Kings (CSK) will look to win the first qualifier of the Indian Premier League 2015 (IPL 8) against Mumbai Indians (MI) at the Wankhede Stadium here tonight to make their sixth final in the annual T20 carnival. [CSK dominate on Facebook]

CSK have won two of the four IPL finals they have played so far (most by any team) and are the only team to have made the last four of each edition of the tournament which had started in 2008.
They are also the only team to have been led by the same captain, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, in all eight editions.

2008 (Runners-up): Lost to Rajasthan Royals by 3 wickets in the final after finishing 3rd in the league stage
2009 (semifinalists): Lost to Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) by 6 wickets in the 2nd semifinal after finishing 2nd in the league stage
2010 (champions): Beat MI by 22 runs in the final after finishing 3rd in the league stage
2011 (champions): Beat RCB in the final by 58 runs after finishing 2nd in the league stage
2012 (runners-up): Lost to Kolkata Knight Riders in the final by 5 wickets after finishing 4th in the league stage
2013 (runners-up): Lost to MI in the final by 23 runs after finishing 1st in the league stage
2014 (qualifier stage): Lost to Kings XI Punjab in Qualifier 2 by 24 runs after finishing 3rd in the league stage
2015: Finished at the top of the table with 18 points
