Bengaluru, April 8: Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) picked up their maiden IPL 2017 win as they beat Delhi Daredevils (DD) by 15 runs. []

Kedar Jadhav's scintillating 69 runs of 37 balls helped RCB post a formidable total of 157 runs on the board in 20 overs. [Report]

After losing quite a few wickets early in the match, Jadhav and Stuart Binny's 66 runs partnership gave the home side some ground.

In reply, Delhi were off to a decent start but lost their first two wickets within 38 runs. Sam Billings gave a nice start opening the innings but had to depart a crucial juncture.

19-year-old wicketkeeper batsman Rishabh Pant took charge of the innings, who scored 56 runs. Pant was there till the very end but could take his team to glory.

The young southpaw had to depart in the final over courtesy a brilliant delivery from Pawan Negi.

Defending a small total like 157 runs at home will give RCB immense confidence as they look forward to welcoming their star players in the coming days.
