At the Wankhede Stadium yesterday, Rohit was erroneously given out LBW by umpire CK Nandan. The match official failed to spot an inside edge off Rohit's bat and upheld the appeal from bowler Sunil Narine and his team-mates.

Obviously, Rohit was disappointed with the wrong decision. He showed it, made gestures towards the umpire and walked off after scoring just 2 runs. After the match, Rohit was reprimanded by the match referee Sunil Chaturvedi.
"Rohit Sharma, the Mumbai Indians captain, was reprimanded by the match referee for showing excessive, obvious disappointment with an Umpire's decision during his team's contest against the Kolkata Knight Riders at the Wankhede Stadium," a media advisory from IPL said on Monday (April 10).
"Mr Sharma admitted to the Level 1 offence 2.1.5 of the IPL Code of Conduct for Players and Team Officials.
"For Level 1 breaches of the IPL Code of Conduct, the Match Referee's decision is final and binding," it added.
Mumbai defeated Kolkata by 4 wickets with 1 ball to spare. Nitish Rana (50) and Hardik Pandya (29 not out) were the heroes in the run chase.
