IPL 2017: Twitterati hail Sunil Narine's innings at the top of the order
Kolkata, April 13: Gautam Gambhir's decision to make Sunil Narine open the innings alongside him raised quite a few eyebrows initially but the decision proved to be a masterstroke.
The West Indian bowler scored a blistering 37 runs off just 18 balls to take KKR's score to 76 in the powerplay overs.

In the absence of Chris Lynn, Gambhir took the bold call of promoting Narine up the order. The thinking was clear, to get as many runs as possible during the first 6 overs.
Narine did exactly the job he was asked to do. The pinch-hitting from the beginning kept KKR on the driving seat.
