CSK vs DC: Chennai Super Kings (CSK) will take on Delhi Capitals (DC) at the M Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on Wednesday. CSK are currently placed second in the ten-team IPL 2023 points table. They have won six out of their 11 matches so far.

DC, on the other hand, continue to occupy the last spot after winning four of their ten matches. Chennai won their last match against Mumbai Indians by six wickets, while Delhi defeated RCB by seven wickets.

Ravindra Jadeja: Eyes will be on Ravindra Jadeja all over again as CSK take DC in a home match. The star all-rounder has been highly impressive with the bat and is currently the second-highest wicket-taker for CSK.

In the eleven matches so far, he has picked 15 wickets at an average of 19.20 and an economy rate of 7.38. He has played 30 matches against Delhi and picked 18 wickets at an average of 29.22 and an economy of 7.66.

Matheesha Pathirana: The high-rated CSK pacer has impressed one and all this season and under the guidance of MS Dhoni, the youngster is emerging as one of the hot properties in international cricket as well as the IPL.

The 20-year-old from Sri Lanka is currently the third-highest wicket-taker for CSK at the moment. He has picked ten wickets in seven matches at an average of 20.80 and an economy rate of 7.60.

He was adjudged Man of the Match for his three for 15 in four overs against Mumbai Indians in his last match. He picked the wickets of their top-scorer Nehal Wadhera, Tristan Stubbs and Arshad Khan.

Axar Patel: The left-arm spinner should benefit from the slow nature of the pitch like his CSK counterpart Ravindra Jadeja. So far, he has picked seven wickets in 10 matches at an average of 32.14 and an economy rate of 6.81.

The Delhi vice-captain hasn't picked any wicket in his last two outings and would be hoping to end his drought. Overall, he has taken eight matches in 14 matches at an average of 45 and an economy rate of 6.92 against CSK.

Kuldeep Yadav: The chinaman bowler can be another beneficiary of the Chennai surface. Delhi are in a must-win situation and Kuldeep's role will be massive. In the IPL 2023 so far, he has picked eight wickets in 10 matches at an average of 30.75 and an economy rate of 7.02.

Kuldeep has played five matches against CSK and picked two wickets at an average of 74 and an economy rate of 8.70. The 28-year-old has picked just one wicket in his last three matches and would be raring for a comeback.
