CSK vs MI: Chennai Super Kings (CSK) will take on Mumbai Indians (MI) at the M Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on Saturday. In the first match of the season between the two teams, Chennai defeated Mumbai by seven wickets at the Wankhede Stadium.

Chennai Super Kings are currently placed third in the ten-team points table. They were forced to share points in their last match against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) as rain played spoilsport and the game had to be abandoned.

Mumbai Indians are occupying the sixth spot now after winning five out of their nine matches. They have won their last two matches and would take the field with an aim to grab third consecutive win and to avenge their home defeat against the MS Dhoni-led side.

Tim David: The Australian has started to hit top gear from ball one and eyes will be on him in the upcoming match between the two most successful IPL teams of all time.

In his last outing against CSK earlier this season, David scored 31 runs off 22 balls to help MI post 157/8 after a middle-order collapse. In the nine matches so far, he has scored 177 runs at an average of 44.25 and a strike rate of 171.84.

Devon Conway: The CSK opener has failed to open his account in both his outings against Mumbai till date. The third-highest run-scorer in the IPL 2023 will look to change it this time around.

Conway has been in top form this season, scoring 414 runs in 10 matches at an average of 59.14 and a strike rate of 144.25. In Chennai, Conway has played four matches and scored 266 runs at an average of 133 and a strike rate of 151.13.

Ajinkya Rahane: The top-order batter has scored 224 runs in eight matches at an average of 44.80 and economy rate of 189.83 in IPL 2023 season. He is his team's fourth-highest run-scorer at the moment.

Rahane blasted a 19-ball fifty when he made his CSK debut against MI in this season. Overall, he has played 26 matches against MI and scored 686 runs at an average of 32.66 and a strike rate of 126.33.
