David Warner on Saturday became the first foreign player to score 6000 runs in Indian Premier League as the Australian batter achieved the feat during IPL 2023 match 11, Rajasthan Royals vs Delhi Capitals (RR vs DC), in Guwahati.
He is the third batter overall behind Virat Kohli and Shikhar Dhawan and is the quickest to reach the mark among the three. David Warner reached the mark during the second innings of the match at Guwahati's Barsapara Stadium. He celebrated the occasion in style as he Trent Boult for a boundary in the ninth over to reach the figure.
