IPL 2023: A video of fans chanting Virat Kohli's name in front of Gautam Gambhir has gone viral. The video is reportedly from the match between Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow.
In the video, Gambhir, who is the mentor of LSG, can be seen climbing up the dressing room stairs when a group of fans start chanting 'Kohli, Kohli'. Gambhir stands for a while and stares at the fans before walking inside the dressing room.

A verbal feud broke out between Kohli and Gambhir after the LSG versus RCB as the two cricketing stalwarts were separated by players and support staff of the two teams. It all started in the 17th over of Lucknow's run-chase when Naveen-ul-Haq and Kohli had a go at each other.
Amit Mishra, who was batting alongside Naveen at that point, intervened but was seemingly shunned too by Kohli. Later during the ceremonial handshake, the RCB star and Naveen again had a verbal spat. Kohli's RCB teammate Glenn Maxwell tried to mediate this time.
Kohli, Gambhir and Naveen were slapped with heavy fines for their altercations. While, Kohli and Gambhir will have to pay 100 percent of their match fee, the Afghanistan cricketer was fined 50 percent of his match fee.
The rivalry between Kohli and Gambhir goes back to IPL 2013 when the two got involved in a heated exchange of words for the first time in public. Tempers flared after Kohli was dismissed in the match at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. Gambhir was the captain of Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) back then.
